Lorrha GAA News for 2 January

Under 21: The North Under 21 'B' Hurling semi-final against Portroe due to have been played on St Stephen's Day was postponed due to an unplayable pitch in Moneygall. The game is set to be refixed for this Saturday, 2nd January, with venue and time to be confirmed.

Auction: The Auction, Sale of Work and Wheel of Fortune will now take place on Sunday, 17th January 2016 at 2pm.

AGM: In last weeks AGM review, there were a number of omissions, including the launch of our Strategic Plan 2015-2019 with a copy of the plan presented to outgoing chairman William Harding by Plan Coordinator Gerard O'Meara and the club would like to thank Gerard for his work on what was a comprehensive document. Also the role of Assistant Treasurer was filled by Louise Mannion.

Lotto: Our jackpot is now €4,800 with a Match 3 pot of €100. Thank you for your continued support. You can play our lotto online at www.locallotto.ie where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.

Blood Drive: The Irish Blood Transfusion Clinic will return to the GAA Centre on Tuesday, 5th January 2016.

Lorrha CountryFest: Tickets (€20) are available from Kevin Molloy for the 2016 Lorrha CountryFest at Moatfield which takes place on Sunday, 17th July.

Social Dancing: on New Years Night to the music of Sam O'Doherty. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
