Junior Hurling: The Junior 'B' Hurling League Final against Kildangan is likely to be deferred until the New Year.

Auction: Thanks to all who supporters the annual Sale of Work and Timber Auction which took place last Sunday. All lots were sold and we thank those who made purchases. Thanks also to all club members who gave up their time to cut, split and load timber over the last few weeks.

Senior AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Lorrha GAA Club took place on Tuesday, 16th December. Full report next week.

Social Night: The Club Social Night which was due to take place in the Clubhouse on Saturday, 27th December has been postponed. Another night will be arranged with a provisional date of Saturday, 21st February.

Referees Course: Tipperary County Board are looking for new referees to take part in a course in the New Year. Lorrha are one of 25 clubs in thew county that do not have an active referee and we would like to address this. If anyone is interested in becoming a refere, email your contact details to

National Draw: Lorrha are promoting the 2015 National Draw which will take place in February. As well as prizes from Croke Park including trips abroad and All Ireland final tickets, we will also have an in-club draw for a minimum prize fund of €500. Tickets are €10 and can be purchased from any committee member.

Merchandise: Lorrha GAA have teamed up with Mr Sportsgift in Nenagh to provide club crested merchandise. Our initial range of items such as mugs, fridge magnets and key rings can be ordered by logging onto

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Footloose and is also our Christmas Party night. Dancing also on St Stephens Night with Pat & Ritchie. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am. Social Dancing classes on Monday nights at 8pm.
