Minor Hurling: Following last Saturday’s results, Lorrha Rovers cannot progress to the semi-finals. While we have finished tied with Roscrea, they progress to the semi-final having won the game between us last July.
Minor Football: Hard luck to the Lorrha Rovers minor footballers who lost 4-6 to 3-7 to Nenagh Eire Óg in a gripping North Minor ‘A’ final on Sunday. On behalf of the club, we would like to thank Willie Fogarty, Noel Hogan, George Hannigan and Pat McLoughney for their commitment to the combination team this year.
Thomas MacDonaghs: Thomas MacDonaghs take on Eire Óg Annacarty in the county senior football championship quarter final this Saturday, 20th October in The Ragg at 3.00pm.
Tony Hogan Fund: An open meeting will be held in the Clubhouse on Thursday, 18th October at 8.30pm to finalise plans. All are welcome to attend.
Tipperary Clubs Draw: With the 2012-2013 draw now almost half way through, we are asking all promoters to bring their monies up to date and forward to draw coordinator Margaret Gleeson.
First Aid and Defibrillator Training: The club will be organizing a course following healthy expressions of interest. We are currently looking at dates in October to hold the course.
Gym: The club are now issuing key-fobs for those that wish to use the gym on a regular basis. Gym membership up to the end of February 2013 is €42 for GAA club members and €60 for non-members. For more information contact Sean Mannion on 087-3643031.

Scór na nÓg: The North Finals of Scór na nÓg will be held in Silvermines on Friday, 23rd November. Anyone interested in taking part in Figure dancing, Set Dancing, Ballad Group, Recitation, Solo Song, Instrumental Music, Question Time and Novelty Act should contact Shane Brophy. Age limit for Scor na nÓg is Under 17 by January 1st 2013.
Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Pat & Richie. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the Hogan family on the death of Bridget Hogan, Lorrha, who died last week. May she rest in peace.
