Lorrha GAA News for 24 December

November 8, 2018

AGM: The Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday night in front of another disappointing attendance. On field activities were highlighted by the seniors winning the Division 2 League while Kevin Maher was part of the Thomas MacDonaghs county senior football success. Patrick Maher performances for the Tipperary seniors were highlighted as well Ciaran Haugh, William Maher, Kevin Maher and Ken Hogan involved with Tipperary teams in 2011.
Once again, Willie Harding provided a very detailed treasurers report and despite the current economic, our supporters continue to support all fundraising activities very well to maintain the running of the club.
Seamus Deely came to the of his 5-year term and he thanked everyone for their support during his term.
Due to the small crowd, a number of positions, including Chairman, remain to be filled on the committee and all will be confirmed at the Adjourned AGM on Tuesday, 3 January @ 8.00pm and we ask all members to attend.
That meeting will also confirm the managers of Junior hurling & football, Under 21 and minor teams.
