Lotto: There was one lucky winner of this weeks lotto jackpot of €10,950 – Carmel Bergin from Carrig. The winning promoter was Maria Brophy. The winning numbers were: 4 – 10 – 16 – 17.

5-Year Plan: On Wednesday, 29th April, the club will be holding an open meeting in Moatfield, starting at 8.30pm, to begin the development of a 5-Year Plan. Anyone from the parish, be it a player, coach, parent, supporter, members and non-members are invited to attend and give their views on what should be in the plan, which will deal with both on and off the field matters. Tipperary County Board will be sending a facilitator to run the meeting so everyones views can be heard and noted and then developed into a plan which will help us set a path for the future. This is an important meeting and we ask you to make a special effort to attend.

Senior: The seniors game against Killenaule in the County Senior Hurling Championship due to have been played this Sunday in Templemore has been postponed due to the All Ireland Under 21 Football Final.

Lorrha could have a game in the North Championship on the May Bank Holiday weekend while in the county championship, the group game with Eire Og Annacarty has been fixed for the The Ragg on Sunday, 10th May at 5pm.

Junior Hurling: Well done to the juniors who defeated Ballina, 1-11 to 0-12 in the league on Sunday. Lorrha's next match is away to Borrisokane.

Minor Football: Despite Lorrha's 3-8 to 1-8 loss to Shannon Rovers Gaels on Friday evening, they have progressed to the North semi-final. Their opponents are yet to be known but the game will be played within the next few weeks.

Under 16: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers Gaels had very good 3-12 to 2-4 win over Burgess in Kilcolman last Monday week. Last Next Monday evening, they lost 2-11 to 3-4 to Kildangan but are still in with a chance of making the semi-finals.

Under 14: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers began their North 'A' football championship campaign against Nenagh Eire Og in Moatfield and earned a point following an exciting 3-6 each draw. Next up is Inane Rovers in Ballinderry on Wednesday (this evening) at 6.30pm.

Last Saturday in Borrisoleigh, the hurling team were edged out by one point by Silvermines in the North Feile 'B' semi-final.

Tipperary: Hard luck to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary team in Sunday's National League semi-final. Also well done to the Tipp under 21 footballers on reaching the All Ireland Final.

Tipperary Clubs Draw: The 2014-2015 draw has come to a close and we ask all draw promoters and players to bring their accounts up to date prior to the promotion of the new draw which will take place over the coming weeks.

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Adrian Ryan. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
