Lorrha GAA News for 28 July

Senior: Lorrha will return to action in the Seamus O Riain Cup against Holycross/Ballycahill on the weekend of 11-12 August.

Junior: Our junior 'B' hurlers bowed out of the championship last Saturday evening following a 4-14 to 2-12 defeat away to Templederry. Thanks to the players and mentors for their effort through the year.

Minor: Lorrha Rovers Gaels minor hurlers sit top of the 'A' round-robin section after three rounds of games with their next game being against Roscrea on Thursday 2nd August.

Under 16: Lorrha Rovers Gaels suffered a heavy 4-21 to 0-10 defeat at home to Kiladangan last Friday evening. The game against Kilruane MacDonaghs due to have been played last Monday has been deferred to a later date.

Under 14: Lorrha suffered a heavy defeat away to Kilruane MacDonaghs in round 3 in Cloughjordan last Wednesday. Their final group game is against Burgess in Moatfield on Wednesday 8th August before the knockout stages take place.

Under 12: Well done to the Under 12's who progressed to the North 'A' hurling semi-finals following a 2-12 to 3-3 win over Silvermines in Moatfield last Friday evening. They now face Ballina in the semi-finals this Friday 27th July in Moatfield at 7.30pm. All support would be appreciated.

Cul Camp: The Kellogg's Cul Camp in Lorrha got underway in Lorrha last Monday morning. Around 90 children are taking part in a fun-filled week.

Tipperary: Best of luck to the Tipperary minor hurlers in the All Ireland semi-final against Kilkenny this Sunday.
