Lorrha GAA News for 29 September

Under 21: The Under 21 hurlers began their defence of the North 'B' title with a 1-9 to 0-10 win over Shannon Rovers Gaels in Ballinderry on Saturday. This was a hard earned win with gritty performance, particularly in defence. Speedy recover to Alan O'Meara and Jack Ryan who were injured in the game. Lorrha now progress to the quarter finals next month.

Under 15: Lorrha Rovers Gaels progressed to the semi-finals of the North 'B' Hurling Plate with a 5-9 to 2-14 win over Borris-Ileigh in Moatfield on Sunday.

The team now progress to the semi-finals and finals which will be played in a Blitz on Sunday 14th October.

Child Welfare Course: If anyone is interested in doing a Child Welfare Course soon, contact Juvenile Chairman Tommy Kennedy 0879191689. At least 10 names are needed to organise the course.
