Junior Hurling: Lorrha have two games remaining against Kildangan and Borris-Ileigh, requiring wins in both to make the knockout stages. The Kildangan game will take place on Friday, 9th August in Borrisokane at 7.30pm
Minor: Lorrha lost to Templederry on a 1-10 to 0-12 scoreline in Moatfield last Wednesday evening in the Minor hurling championship. Despite the defeat, Lorrha are through to the quarter finals where they will play one of Silvermines, Ballina or Burgess in mid August.
Under 16: Lorrha were defeated by Templederry on a 3-15 to 1-9 scoreline last Monday week. This Wednesday evening, Lorrha host Kildangan in Moatfield at 6.45pm. Next Monday evening, Lorrha travel to Kilcolman to take on Burgess with a 6.45pm throw-in.
Under 12: Hard luck to our Under 12’s who lost their Group 2 semi-final to Ballina in Ballina last Friday evening on a 4-4 to 1-3 scoreline. We would like to thank the players and mentors for their efforts in what was a busy campaign, highlighted by their victory in the football championship.
Tipperary: Best of luck to the Tipperary minor footballers in their All Ireland quarter final against Monaghan this weekend.
Tipperary Clubs Draws: The August Draw takes place this Friday night. We ask all promoters to bring their accounts up to date.
Gym Membership: (All rates are inclusive of club membership rates above) Adult Players – €150 (€50+€100); Non-Playing member – €150 (€30+€120); Student – €100 (€20+€80); Family (2+2) – €200 (€80+€120); Non club member – €150. Individual rates are €3 per session for club members and €5 per session for non members. All 2012 members who have not renewed their membership have now had their phobs turned off.
