Best of Luck: to Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher and the the Tipperary senior hurling team in Sunday’s All Ireland Hurling final against Kilkenny.

All Ireland Final Tickets: All Ireland Final tickets will be drawn for at the Clubhouse on this evening Wednesday, 31 August @ 9.00pm. Tickets will be drawn for among fully paid up club members only. Stand – €80; Terrace – €40.

All Ireland Final Preview Night: Lorrha GAA are hosting an All Ireland Hurling Final Preview Night in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on this Thursday, 1 September at 8.30pm.
Guests including Ken Hogan, Eamonn Corcoran, Kilkenny duo, Denis Byrne, James Ryall as well as Daithí Regan and Tony Considine will be present to look ahead to the big game between Tipperary and Kilkenny.
Tickets cost €20 and can be bought from the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh Guardian offices, or you can book your tickets by contacting secretary Kevin Hough on 086-0515324 and can also be bought on the night.
All those that attend will also be entered into a draw for a pair of stand tickets to the All Ireland Final plus a signed jersey by the Tipperary senior team.

Senior: Well done to the senior hurlers who produced a superb fightback to win the Division 2 League title with a 0-16 to 0-14 win over Boherlahan in Templederry on Friday evening. See Match Report.

Minor Hurling: The minors produced a brave display before going down 3-17 to 4-9 to Nenagh Eire Og in the Minor ‘A’ Hurling semi-final in Cloughjordan last Wednesday evening. See Match Report.

Minor Football: The minor ‘A’ football final against Ballina has been postponed until after the All Ireland minor football final.

U13: Lorrha were defeated by Silvermines in round 2 of the U13 Plate Hurling. This Wednesday (tonight) they travel to Portroe @ 7.00pm

Tipperary Training Fund Draw: Tickets are available for the Tipperary hurlers and footballers Training Fund Draw with the first part of the draw taking place this Thursday night. Tickets are €10 and top prize is a Trip for 2 to the International Rules Series in Australia this October. Contact any committee member.

Lotto: Our jackpot now stands at €11,500. Thank you for your continued support.

Scrap Metal: The club are considering holding a scarp metal collection day in the near future. If anyone has anything of any kind they want to get rid off, please contact any committee member.
