Junior: The Juniors kept their championship hopes alive with a deserved 1-16 to 2-10 win over Kildangan in Borrisokane on Sunday afternoon. A win in our final game against Roscrea in two weeks time with other results going our way could give us a chance of making the quarter finals.

Minor Hurling: The Minors scheduled game against Toomevara due to have taken place on Thursday evening has been postponed. It is likely to be rearranged for the following week.

Minor Football: Well done to our minor footballers who beat Nenagh Eire Og 4-4 to 1-8 in the North Minor ‘A’ Football semi-final in Moneygall last Tuesday. Lorrha will play Ballina in the final.

U16: The Under 16’s suffered a heavy defeat to Shannon Rovers Gaels on Monday last. On Friday last, they lost out to Silvermines by just two points at Dolla. Next Monday, 1 August, Lorrha travel to Templederry to take on the home side @ 7.00pm.

U14: Lorrha lost out 2-8 to 1-5 to Burgess in Kilcolman in their final group game on Wednesday last. While the team lost ten of their eleven games, they played very well despite limited numbers and are a credit to the club. Training continues every Thursday evening from 7.00 to 8.00pm.

Cúl Camp: 86 boys and girls too part in another successful Lorrha Cúl Camp last week. Thanks to Len Gaynor and his team of coaches for putting out future stars through their paces. Also during the week, the Liam MacCarthy Cup paid a visit along with Seamus Callanan and Padraic Maher.
