Golf Classic: The date of our Golf Classic in Birr Golf Club has been deferred by two weeks to Friday, 10 July. What better way to start Munster Final weekend than with a round of golf. Teams of 4 are €220 while hole sponsorships are €100 each. Timesheets are with Michael Liffey 087-2578370 or Tony Coen 087-6219639.

Senior: Lorrha’s fourth North Senior Championship game takes place on Sunday week, 7 June against Portroe. Throw-in is at 1.30pm. We need a win to retain our interest in the championship.

Junior: Our juniors get their championship campaign underway this Saturday against Burgess in Puckane @ 5pm. Best of luck to the players and mentors.

VHI Cul Camps: The Lorrha GAA VHI Cul Camp takes place this year between 27-31 July.

Feile: Lorrha are hosting the Mount Leinster Rangers club from Carlow as part of the All Ireland Feile hurling competition. Lorrha will be taking part and Moatfield will be hosting games on Friday, 19 June.

Tipp v Cork: Best of Luck to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary Senior Hurling team against Cork this Sunday. Also best wishes to Patrick & Kevin Maher plus selector Ken Hogan and the Tipperary Under 21 team in their Munster Championship opener against Cork next Wednesday in Thurles.

Tipp Draw: This is a massive source of revenue with 50% of each subscription coming back to the club. We look forward to your continued support. Any new people wishing to join should contact club coordinator Margaret Gleeson or any of the promoters. The first Draw will be held on Friday week June 5th with an Audi A6 or €50,000 as first prize. Tickets are €100 for the year with multiple payment options

Courses: Last year, the club purchased a defibrillator for use in emergency situations and anyone interested in taking part in a course on how to use it can contact William Harding on 086-8062341. Anyone interested in taking a physio/masseurs course can also call William Harding for further details.

Lotto: The numbers drawn on 18 May were: 6 – 22 – 25 – 27. No Winner. The Lucky Dips were: Sheila Hoctor, Jim Curran, Brian Keeshan, Brigid Deane and Aidan McIntyre. The Winning Promoters were: Kevin Maher, Gavin Young and Joe Cleary.

Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing resumes on Friday night to the music of Footloose. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
