Junior: Hard luck to the Junior hurlers who were defeated 1-15 to 0-16 in the North Junior 'B' Hurling Championship Final in Nenagh on Saturday. The concession of a late goal was out undoing after fighting back following a slow start. Thank you to the players and mentors for their efforts this year which included a league title. Best of luck to Newport in the county series.

Under 21: Best of luck to the Under 21 hurlers who play Portroe in the North 'B' semi-final in Dolla this Sunday at 2.30pm.

Fundraiser: The clubs 2500-to-1 fundraising draw with a prize fund of €10,000 will go ahead on Saturday 2nd December. We are urging all club members to make one final push to get the tickets sold for what is a vital fundraiser for the club. Your support would be appreciated.

Juvenile Table Quiz: Lorrha Juvenile Club are holding their annual fundraising table quiz in Moatfield on Saturday 11th November at 8.00pm.

Scor: The North final of Scor na nOg takes place in Borrisoleigh on Friday 17th November. Anyone wishing to take part in competitions including Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Recitation/Storytelling; Ballad Group; Stage Presentation; Instrumental Music; Set Dancing and Table Quiz should contact any senior or juvenile club officer.

Social Dancing: continues on Friday with music of Muriel O'Connor & Fran Curry, from 9.30pm til late.

Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the Hayes family, Puckane and Kiladangan GAA Club on the passing of Kian Hayes last week. May he rest in peace.
