Premier 12’s North Finals: The Finals of the Premier 12’s hurling were held in Moatfield on Saturday last. It was a thoroughly succesful day dulled only by the rain that arrived mid morning. Thanks to Juvenile Chairman Sean Mannion and his large crew of helpers for having everything superbly organised with the reduce sized pitch on the main field in superb condition as well as those who prepared food in the Clubhouse. Well done also to the eight teams who provided four very good games, to referee’s TP Sullivan and John Cleary, also to North Tipperary Bórd na nÓg for allowing us to host the finals and for also organsing the piper to lead all the teams onto the field which made the day extra special for all the teams. Thanks also to Patrick & Kevin Maher, Ken Hogan and Jo Needham for presenting the medals to the teams after the games.
