Old Time Dancing:Old Time Dancing continues on Friday night in our newly extended function roomto the music of J&S Sound. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
Sympathy: LorrhaGAA Club would like to sympathise with the O’Carroll family, Portland on thedeath of Owen O’Carroll who died last week. After moving to Lorrha from hisnative Kerry in the early 1970’s, Owen became involved with the club,particularly at juvenile level where he trained many teams from Under 12 to 21.He guided Lorrha to a second Minor ‘A’ North Final appearance in 42-years backin 2005. In 2007, he was a selector on our Intermediate team that won thecounty title. Always courteous and an immeansley positive and popular man, Owenwill be missed by all in the club. May he rest in peace.
Lorrha GAA would also like to sympathise with the familiesand both Holycross/Ballycahill and Newport GAA clubs on the deaths of the greatJohn Doyle and Jimmy Butler Coffey who both passed away last week. May theyrest in peace.
