5-Year Plan: Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting last Wednesday to begin the process of developing a 5-Year Plan. A lot of important issues of our strengths and weaknesses were highlighted. A further meeting has been arranged for Wednesday, 13th May at 8.30pm in which we will focus on the items that need to be in the plan. All are welcome to attend.

Lotto: The numbers drawn last week were: 5 – 14 – 16- 28. No Winner.

Senior: The seniors continued their excellent start to the championship with a 5-14 to 0-13 win over Borrisokane in the first round of the North Championship in Cloughjordan on Sunday evening. Goals from Cian Hogan (2), Chris Fogarty, Michael Cleary and a Patrick Maher penalty saw us to an impressive win. In the second round, we will play a first round loser.

This Sunday, 10th May we return to county championship action when we take on Eire Og Annacarty in The Ragg at 5.00pm. All support would be welcome.

Junior Hurling: The junior hurlers confirmed a semi-final spot in the North Junior ‘B’ League with a convincing 4-22 to 0-8 win over Borrisokane in Borrisokane on Monday afternoon. Goals from Barry Moran, David Fogarty, Willie Hough and Eoin Gormally. Lorrha have one final group game to play against Borris-Ileigh.

Minor Football: The minor footballers lost 2-7 to 0-2 to Borrisokane in the North 'B' semi-final last Wednesday evening.

Under 16: Hard luck to Lorrha/Shannon Rovers Gaels who lost 3-7 to 2-4 to Moneygall/Clonakenny in the North 'B' semi-final last Monday week.

Under 14: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers lost 4-6 to 2-1 to Kilruane MacDonaghs in the 'A' Championship last Wednesday but on yesterday (Tuesday) they enjoyed a 4-9 to 4-4 win over Borrisokane in Ballinderry and are now through to the semi-finals.

Under 12: Best of luck to the footballers who take on Ballina in the North 'C' Final in Dolla this Friday evening, 8th May at 6.15pm

Tipperary: Commiserations to the Tipperary under 21 footballers on their All Ireland Final defeat to Tyrone on Saturday last.

Tipperary Clubs Draw: The 2014-2015 draw has come to a close and we ask all draw promoters and players to bring their accounts up to date prior to the promotion of the new draw which will take place over the coming weeks.

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Glen Flynn. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.

Blood Drive: The Irish Blood Transfusion Service return to Moatfield on Thursday, 28th May.

Symapthy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the Corrigan family on the death of Sean Corrigan, late of Redwood, who died last week. May he rest in peace.
