LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES AS OF MONDAY APRIL 28th 2008

The Annual Race night take place Friday May 16th. Please help by getting sponsors and/or adverts for the race card. We ask everybody to sponsor a horse, a jockey or a race; and local business to take adverts in our Race Card. This is an important annual fundraiser for the club. Good wins for our Senior hurlers in the Championship, our Minor footballers  and  Junior Bs. Well done and hard luck to our Scor Novelty Act in the All Ireland finals in Killarney. Our Golf Society outing this Saturday is to Castleknock Golf & Country Club (Tee-box booked 12.20 -13.50).  We welcome Cinncinati Bengals linebacker Dhani Jones and the Travel Network to the Club this week. Dhani will learn how to play hurling and play with the Junior hurlers; with  his exploits to be shown on Network TV in the U.S. Our Sars Stars Talent Competition starts on May 10th with teams entering a solo artist to win gear for its team.
