LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES AS OF MONDAY Dec 5th 2011

Our table quiz in aid of St. Vincent de Paul was a huge success raising 2800 euro.Thanks to all who supported.Well done to our U-13A camogie on winning their league beating Ballyboden 5-4 to 1-3.Hard luck to both our U-21 football teams beaten in championship last Saturday.Minor Football Championshio final v St.Brigids moved to Sunday Dec 11th at 11am in the 12th Lock.Congratulations to John Egan on his appointment as principal of Scoil Mhuire soon to become hurling central!We invite any children born in 2005/6/7 to come along to our nursery on Saturdays at 1.30 on the club’s all weather pitch at 12th lock.All mentors have now been issued with tickets for the Sportspersons Dream draw.This is a vital fundraiser for the club.A big push is needed from all mentors.Tickets can also be purchased online at www.sportspersonsdream.com.Well done to Tommy Brennan and Stephen O’Shaughnessy on their Blue Star awards.Well done also to Peter Kelly on being added to the 2011 all star hurling team which played in Sanfrancisco last Sunday.This weeks Lotto Numbers 10-11-20-21.No winner Hugh McGonigle’s team will be in charge next weekend when we will have five turkeys to give away along with our 10 lucky dips.Te jackpot will be 8000 Euro.
