LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES AS OF MONDAY May 12h 2008

What a great weekend – three Feile finals – one won, one marginally lost and one still to play! Well done to our U14 A Camogie squad who captured the Division One title emphatically! Hard luck to our U14C squad who marginally lost by a point in their Division 3 final. Well done too to our U14B squad who, despite playing their best, failed to progress. Well done to our U14 hurlers who reached the Feile Division 2 final to be played this Saturday. A great crowd on Saturday saw American footballer Dhani Jones line out, and get some action, with the Junior hurlers. Our Race night is this Friday – we will still accept horse and jockey entries up to the night. One last mighty effort needed from everybody please. A great night is guaranteed with craic, spots, auctions etc.  -please come along on Friday from 9pm. This Saturday sees heat two of Sars Stars in the Bar with music from Peter Mangan. Condolences to the O’Keefe family on the passing of Maura’s mother, Mai Brennan. Lotto: 7, 14, 15, 16 – no winner! Next weeks lotto, sponsored by Shop’n’Save, will have a jackpot of €2,500 and Mick Mulhall will be in charge.
