Lucan Sarsfields Club Notes Monday 10th June 2013

November 8, 2018

Our senior hurlers had a good win on Sunday morning against Cuala on a scoreline of 6-19 to 1-12. Junior A hurlers had a walkover while our Junior B hurlers lost out to Castleknock.

Senior footballers play Kilmacud in Silver Park on Wednesday at 7:30 while our inter footballers play Man O War at the same time in the 12th Lock.

On a beautiful day for playing hurling on Saturday morning our U-9 three team group were at home to Ballyboden St. Endas and the two team group with some assistance from our Under 8s played Thomas Davis at Kiltipper. Both teams away to Thomas Davis played some gritty, determined and flowing hurling that saw two well deserved victories. At home to Ballyboden, there was some excellent hurling on show that resulted in one drawn game and two very narrow defeats. However in both Kiltipper and the 12th Lock there was enough on show to demonstrate the improvement from all our lads. Our U-9s also participated in an U-10 blitz in Baldoyle; stepping up against older opposition, the lads played some superb hurling and recorded two victories with one narrow defeat ,winning the blitz on score difference. Great improvement all round from all the lads is a great tonic for us all!

Many thanks once again to Cavan Developments for the loan of their teleporter and also to Jack O’Neill.
