Well done to our U-14 Girls Football team on becoming Division 3 Feile Champions 2012 on Sunday, with an impressive 3-2 to 0-0 victory over Naomh Mearnog in the final. Great wins on Saturday for our U-8 and U-9 hurlers and our 13 A and 14 B footballers. U-15 camogie had a great win over Crumlin on Sunday. Our annual race night takes place on Friday 11th May. We encourage all members to buy a horse or be a jockey or a trainer. We would also welcome advertisements for our race night programme. Posters are now around the club for the Lucozade Club Crusade. The sports club that collects the most bottle tops from lucozade sport and sport lite will win €10,000 . This weeks Lotto Numbers are 2-8-13-20. There was no winner. Next weeks jackpot will be € 4500. Shay Hurson’s team will be in charge next Sunday when our sponsor will be Diamond and Gem Jewellers.Well done to Eoin Mullarkey on winning our first golf society outing of the year. Next outing at Castlewarden on Thursday May 17th. Congratulations to Lorna Murtagh and Dinny Malone who have qualified for the final of our Sars Stars talent contest. The next heat is on Saturday 28th of April with the grand final taking place on Saturday May 19th. Set dancing classes – Every Wednesday 8.30 – 10pm in the function room of the clubhouse. Our nurseries for boys and girls born in 2005,2006 and 2007 continue every Saturday at 1.30pm on our all weather pitch at The 12th Lock. Camogie nursery at 2:30pm for girls aged 6 and over.This is your child’s chance to be coached by Dublin Senior Hurling Captain Johnny McCaffrey. Opening times for our club shop are Tuesday and Thursday 7.30-8.30 and Saturday 10:30 to 11:30.Deepest sympathy to the Byrne Family on the loss of Pat’s mother Mary Billington.
