LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY APRIL 29th 2013

November 8, 2018

Well done to our U-14 A Camogie team on winning the Dublin Division 1 Feile on Sunday beating Castle knock in the final by 0-8 to 1-3. Hard luck to the B team who lost out narrowly in the group stages after some hard fought battles

Good wins for our senior footballers over St. Mary’s and intermediate footballers over Oliver Plunkets on Saturday. Senior Footballers play Ballyboden in the 1st round of the championship on Wednesday 8th May in the Iveagh Grounds at 7pm while our intermediate footballers play Scoil Ui Chonnail in Balgriffin on May 11th at 4:30pm.

Four wins out of five this weekend for the Under 9 hurlers. First up was the Cu Chulainn group versus Naomh Olaf at the 12th Lock, where the lads recorded three wins. Some great points from play were scored on the back of some fine team interplay. Once again strong defending was built upon further up the field. Good Counsel provided the opposition for the Fionn MacCumhaill lads who recorded one win and one defeat against some fine opposition.

Best of luck to St Mary’s Boys, St Marys Girls, Lucan Educate Together and Archbishop Ryan who will be playing in Croke Park on Monday and Tuesday in Cuman Na Nbunscoil finals. All support welcome.
