Awareness of sudden cardiac death in the young has increased in the last few years, however to add some substance to this awareness, Lucan Sarsfields has arranged for Dr. Deirdre Ward from the charity CRY(Cardiac Risk in the Young) to speak to our parents and mentors about sudden cardiac death in the young. The talk, which will take approximately one hour, will be held in our function room this Tuesday 3rd April at 7 o’clock. Good wins last weekend for our U-8 Hurlers against Faughs and Judes and our U-15 B Footballers against Na Fianna. This weeks Lotto Numbers 1-2-10-16. No winner. Next Monday’s jackpot will be € 3000. Liam Mulhall’s team will be in charge next Monday when our sponsor will be Carey’s Newsagents.The next batch of lotto tickets can be collected from the bar from Friday. The heats for our Sars Stars talent contest will take place on 14th and 21st of April with the grand final taking place on Saturday April 28th.The social initiative group’s trip to Belfast will be on Thursday April 12th. Set dancing classes – Every Wednesday 8.30 – 10pm in the function room of the clubhouse. 25 Card Drive – Every Friday night at 9pm.All players welcome. Entry is €5 – 1st prize €50 and 2nd prize (if 3 or more tables) €15.
