On the Hurling front hard luck to the Minor A’s who lost out to Thomas Davis in their first outing of the season.

The Juvenile Teams finally got to use the parks with 510 players from 37 Teams in Camogie, Hurling and Football taking to the field last weekend.

Our U9 hurlers overcame Bray Emmets at home while our away team came up against a very strong Kilmacud side in Oatlands.  The Team battled well in the first half of ground hurling but Kilmacud pilled away in the second half of air hurling and scored some excellent points.

Our U10 hurlers had wins at home over Cuala and Na Fianna.  There was some excellent skill on display in both games with the standard of hand passing particularly impressive.

The U11 hurlers were up against St Vincents and came away with 2 wins and a draw, while our U12’s were also in action on the northside where they had an impressive victory over Naomh Barrog.

On the football front our U13s were comprehensively beaten by Skerries and St Sylvesters.  Our U14As had a good win over local rivals St. Pats 3-08 to 3-07.  On Sunday morning the U15As had a narrow loss in Div 1 with a St Vincent’s penalty with the last kick of the game securing the home team a 1 point victory.

Our Camogie Teams made a great start to the season with clean sweep. Our U13 Div 1 and 3 teams had wins over St Vincents and St Pats, our U15 Div 1 and 3 over Judes and Kilcoole and our U14 Div 1 team secured a victory over Na Fianna.
