Congratulations to Lucan camogie players Kate Whyte and Claire Rigney who made their senior Inter- County debut’s for Dublin when played in the National League Div. 1 match v Clare in SixMileBridge on Sunday. Ali Twomey and Marie Moynihan also lined out for Dublin in the same game.

Lucan were also represented on the Dublin Div. 3 team where Siobhan Grimes, Michelle Kelly, Emma Flanagan, Emer Keenan and Joeleen Horey all played in the league match v Armagh, and finally Ailise Dowling , Rachel Kenny and Amber O’Connor all played for the Dublin Minor team in The All- Ireland Minor ‘B’ championship v Offaly on Saturday.

Our first FIFA 13 tournament was a great success and we will have our next one this Sunday 3rd in the clubhouse from 3 to 7pm.You can register by emailing or on the day.

Our 5km Fun run takes place on Sunday 3rd March 11am in Lucan Demesne. To register, text 5k and your name to 086 369 1985.

Well done to our U-9 Hurlers who won 1 of 3 games against Ballyboden and had a very convincing win and a draw against Westmanstown.

Well done also to our U-10 hurlers on wins against Skerries and Lusk.

Stuck for a birthday party idea? Why not book the All Weather Pitch in Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club for games or matches and a party in the Clubhouse afterwards. Package includes the full pitch from 1.30pm to 2.30pm on a Sunday afternoon and a reserved area in the Clubhouse from 2.30pm onwards for your party. You may bring you own food but all drinks must be purchased in the Club bar. Cost is €100 for non members and €80 for members. Contact Alice on 086 0805055 for bookings. Only 1 party booking per week so book early to avoid disappointment.

We are pleased to announce that for every club member who books a course in Colaiste Laichtin for July or August the club will receive €100.

Our nurseries for boys and girls born in 2006,2007 and 2008 continue every Saturday at 1.30pm on our all weather pitch at The 12th Lock. Camogie nursery at 2:15pm for girls aged 6 and over. This is your child’s chance to be coached by Dublin Senior Hurling Captain Johnny McCaffrey.

Set dancing continues each Wednesday at 8.30pm.

25 Card Drive continues every Friday night in the Clubhouse, €5 entry, 1st prize €50. All welcome.
