LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY JANUARY 16th 2012
Congratulations to Lucan Sarsfields club man Eoghan Williams on winning first prize in the Sportspersons Dream draw. Well done to all who picked up awards for 2011 last Saturday at our awards night. Paul Stapleton was presented with the Club Person of theYear award.Management team of the year award went to our inter Ladies footballers while Seaghan O’Lanagain was inducted into our Hall of Fame.Adult Camogie medal presentations take place this Friday night at 9pm sharp.Our annual volunteers night takes place this Saturday at 9pm in the clubhouse bar. Golf society AGM takes place next Monday 23rd.Thanks to Jack O’Neill and Cavan Developments for the use of their machinery. Our nurseries for boys and girls born in 2005,2006 and 2007 are every Saturday at 1.30pm on our all weather pitch at The 12th Lock. Deepest sympathy to the Scanlon family on the death of Eoin’s mother Joan and to the Hughes Family on the death of Frank’s brother. Opening times for our club shop are Tuesday and Thursday 7.30-8.30 and Saturdays 10.30-11.30.This weeks Lotto Numbers 1-4-7-9.No winner.Next weeks jackpot will be €11,000. Liam Mulhall’s team will be in charge next Sunday when our sponsor will be Jim Doyle Sports.
