Well done to both our U14 Hurling Feile Teams.  Our Div 5 Team lost out in the semi-final to the eventual winners and our Div 1 Team reached the playoffs on Sunday having comme thorugh a very strong group on Saturday.  Many thanks to all the supporters of these teams throughout the year and in particular to the mentors and coaches.

Go Games last week were focused on football.  A total of 25 fixtures with full participation by all and great skill evident.  Our U9 footballers recorded wins over Ballyboden and Cuala while our U10s had victories over St Mary’s and Liffey Gaels.  Our U16 footballers had a hard fought 1 point victory over Cuala on Tuesday evening in CBS with Mikey Robinson securing the win with the last kick of the game from a dead ball.  Details of this weeks Sars Stars are available on our website.

Congratulations to our Senior Football Team who had an excellent win over Parenells in the Championship last week.  This was followed by Championship wins by the Inter and Jun A footballers.  Our Jun B’s lost out by a goal in their battle with Raheny on Sunday afternoon.

 

Best of luck to our Inter Ladies Football Team in championship action at home this Tuesday.

 

On the camogie front our U8s, U9s, U10 and U11s all played Go-Games matches on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May. The U13Bs lost away to Thomas Davis while the U14Bs and U16As had respective home wins against Commercials and Cuala. The Senior 1s lost a titanic league title decider last Tuesday at home to St. Vincents. The Senior 2s lost away to Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh while the Senior 5s beat Skerries at home. Congratulations to our U15As who have won the U15 Division 1 League by winning all of their 5 games.

Many thanks to the 29 Golfers who took part in our outing is in Castleknock.  First prize went to Gerry O’Grady 44pts, with Ben Quilligan taking 2nd with 42pts.  There were Cat wins for Damian O’Brien, Brendan Kane and Kevin Fitzmaurice.

 

Congratulations to our Last Man Standing winners John Walsh and Fintan Clandillon who shared the 1000 prize.  Watch out for the next round, which will start up again in August.

 

The final game of the Club’s 25 Card Drive for the 2013/2014 season took place last Friday night 16th May 2014 with an accumulator of €500. Congratulations to overall winner Bill Ryan with a total of 67 games and to Tony Rigney who finished 2nd on a total of 64 games. Congratulations to raffle winners Mary Donovan, Mary Flannery, Gerry Beirne and Peggy Blackburn
