Well done to our U-14 A footballers on making the semi final of the division 1 Feile na Peil at the weekend. Our U-14 B team also gave a good account of themselves in the group stages.

Great performances by John Bellew and Eoghan O’ Conghaille for the Dublin minor hurlers beating Offaly on Saturday.

Senior hurlers lost out in championship to O’Tooles while our junior A hurlers had a good win over Cuala in championship.Junior B hurlers were also in championship action beating Raheney.

Senior Footballers play Ballyboden in the 1st round of the championship this Wednesday 8th May in the Iveagh Grounds at 7pm while our intermediate footballers play Scoil Ui Chonnail in Balgriffin on May 11th at 4:30pm.

Inter ladies footballers play Ballyboden in championship this Wednesday 8th in Ballyboden.

This years Street Leagues will take place on Tuesday 28th and Friday 31st of May in the 12th Lock. The street leagues are open to boys and girls born in 2004, 2005 and 2006. This year for the first time the street leagues will include hurling and camogie. The format of the matches will be one half football and one half hurling and camogie. Helmets and hurls will be provided for those who have not played before. Due to new regulations that came into force this year gumshields are compulsory for all boys. Registration forms will be available in the coming week from team mentors, the clubhouse bar, the tea hut beside the all weather pitch at the 12th Lock or you can click here to download the form.

Our 2nd golf society outing will take place at Tulfarris on Sat May 18th from 11am to 12.30. To book a slot text your name to Gerry at 086-0560111 no later than Sunday May 12. Plans are well underway for our classic on June 21st. We are asking all team managers to get 3 golfers to represent their team. The best club team will earn a sports voucher worth €250 for their team. Last year John Kelly won it for the u-14 hurlers. Who will it be this year?.

The closing date for entry to our all ireland forecast competition is Friday May 17th. Tickets are available from the bar. First prize €400, Second prize €100, third prize €50.

For every club member who books a course in Colaiste Laichtin for July or August the club will receive €100.

Our nurseries for boys and girls born in 2006,2007 and 2008 continue every Saturday at 1.30pm on our all weather pitch at The 12th Lock. Camogie nursery at 2:15pm for girls aged 6 and over. This is your child’s chance to be coached by Dublin Senior Hurling Captain Johnny McCaffrey.
