LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY OCTOBER 21st 2013

Congratulations to our Junior B Hurlers, U-15 A Camogie, U-15 B Camogie, U-14 A Camogie and U-13 B Camogie on their Championship final wins at the weekend. Hard luck to our U-16 Camogie team who lost out narrowly and to our intermediate footballers who were beaten after extra time.

Minor Camogie play St. Vincents in championship final on Tuesday 22nd at 7:30 in the 12th Lock as they go for 4 in a row minor A championship titles.

Senior hurlers play Craobh Chiarain this Thursday in championship semi final at 6:45 in Parnell Park.

Junior A hurlers play Castleknock in championship final this Sunday at 2:30 in O’Toole Park.

Well done to Lucan girls Sinead O’Toole, Alise Dowling, Ali Twomey, Jenny Foy, Claire Rigney and Fiona Dowler who reffed camogie finals over the weekend.

Thanks to Sensor Elecrical for replacing the light switch on our hurling alley. Please note that the new switch should not be operated with a hurl either.

The annual mass for deceased members will take place on Thursday 7th November at 8pm in the function room.

Our AGM will take place on Thursday 21st November.

Scór na nÓg Dublin semi-final hosted by Lucan Sarsfields Thursday November 21st at 8pm. Looking for talented members from our juvenile section (U17) to take part and represent their club.

25 card drive continues each Friday night in the clubhouse bar.

We are holding a raffle for a Dublin football jersey signed by the 2013 All Ireland winning panel. €2 per entry. Entries can be made at the clubhouse bar.

Closing date for Xmas pool comp entries Sun 27th 2100hrs,followed by draw at 2200hrs.

Set Dancing classes continue each Wednesday at 8:30 pm in theClubhouse.
