Good wins for senior hurlers in the Championship quarterfinal. Good wins too for U13A footballers in the A-Shield and U13B footballers in C-Championship and they now progress to the semi-finals. Hard luck to our senior Camogie, who exited the Championship at the quarterfinal stage. Thanks to everybody who made the Funday such a great success; and even the weather was kind to us! Tomorrow (Wednesday) Frank Fleming will be posing questions from 8.30pm in the ‘rescheduled’ first of our winter series of Table Quizzes. Tables-of-four cost €30; with fun and craic guaranteed. Juvenile Sars Star starts October 5th. Contestants must be under-16 and represent a team. One finalist selected each evening based on maximum number of audience votes. Worth a visit next Sunday evening in the bar from 5.30 pm. Condolences to the Collins family on the passing of Joe, our club President.
