St Vincents 4-03 : 1-09 Cuala B
St Vincents Under 15 C team had a hard fought win over a previously unbeaten Cuala B side, on Sunday morning in St Anne`s park.
Cuala had the best of the early encounters, taking two well deserved points. Vins where slow starters and put a number of chances wide before opening their account with a fine goal from Emmit Byrne, which he quickly followed up with a well taken point. Cuala fought back hard and levelled scores with two point one from a free and one well struck shot from near the 40. Galen Sullivan got on the end of the dropping ball and palmed to the net, to restore Vins advantage.
Cuala never lay down but two points for Luke Taffee and another goal a piece for the Emmit and Galen sealed victory.
