Comórtas dominates Bank Holiday weekend action
Barna GAA’s senior football team is in action this coming Bank Holiday weekend against An Cheathrú Rua at Clonbur, in Chomórtas na Gaillimhe. Throw-in is at 4.30pm and the match referee is Gerry Kinneavey. Naomh Pádraig and Moycullen are in action the same day in the other semi-final and the winners of both matches face each other the following day, Monday, in the final which is scheduled to take place at 2.30pm. Best of luck to the team, who had ideal preparations for the match having recorded a deserved win over St Michael’s at Na Forbacha on Saturday evening in the league. All support would be welcomed by the senior players and management. Meanwhile, the club’s minor outfit is in action next Wednesday in the minor A West Board championship against neighbours An Spidéal. The match will be played in Killanin and throw-in is at 7pm. All support would be much appreciated.
