Mayo Gaels got their U14 League campaign off to a good start with a well earned away victory over a young Swinford B team on Tuesday the 30th of April.
The Gaels were slow to get into their stride and were fortunate to lead by four points at the interval however a vastly improved second half performance that produced a great exhibition of point scoring guaranteed the points for Gaels well before the final whistle.
The Gaels had good performers throughout the team however particularly prominent on the evening were Conor Jordan, Cathal Heneghan, Patrick Murphy and John Gallagher.
The Gaels next League outing is against Eastern Gaels in Abbey Park, Thursday the 2nd of May at 7.00pm.
