As part of the 2013 ‘Gathering Ireland’ initiative Mayo Gaels Club will hold a ‘Mayo Gaels Homecoming Celebration’ in the Mayo Gaels Clubhouse on Thursday 26th December 2013 at 2.30pm.
All current Mayo Gaels Players & Partners are invited to this homecoming event
– the celebrations will involve a game ( weather permitting!!) between a Mayo Gaels ‘home’ team and an ‘exiles’ selection
– the Tom Markham ( Mayo Minors) will be on display and you will get a chance to re-view and analyse the club’s famous 1984 & 1998 Intermediate Championships victories.
This will be a day when everyone will be able to catch up with old acquaintances and meet new friends
– music & refreshments will be available and we would be delighted if you could also forward this invitation to any other players , Members and Ex Members who donned the Mayo Gaels colours in former years
