MFC: Naomh Eoin Myshall 0-10 Clonmore 2-15

Clonmore Minors remain unbeaten in the Championship after coming away from Myshall with a hard earned victory on Monday last. Clonmore'e win was based on a strong opening quarter with early goals from Sean Moran and Cormac Malee giving them a 2-5 to 0-2 lead after 15 minutes. From there to the end, the Myshall lads gave as good as they got with Donal Jordan, Eoin Hosey and Gavin Ruschitzko outstanding in the backs and James Smithers and River Harmon kicking some great points. But the Clonmore half back line of Matt Cullen, Sean Deay and Rory Maguire was in commanding form along with Luke Connolly at centre field who fed the forwards with a constant supply of ball. Up front Tom Pollard was lively throughout and full-forward Francie Whelan kicked a magnificent seven points from play.
