Clonmore Minors put in a great performance in Woodside on Wednesday night defeating Naomh Eoin by 4 points. Due to a shortage of players on both sides the match was played 11 a side which took a lot out of both teams. Goals by Josh Bowes and Daniel Quigley along with points by Adam Byrne gave Clonmore a half time lead of 2-4 to 1-1. Further points by Adam and Dale McNamara left Clonmore closing out the game in their favour. A special mention must go to Michael Kealy who bought off one of the best saves seen in Woodside for many a year early in the first half and Joe Hickey who celebrated his 18th birthday and was capt on the night.
