A good honest contest in which Clonmore led for the most part but just couldn’t close out the game and Kildavin/Clon notched up a few telling scores including a goal late in the second half. Clonmore rallied again with the last score of the game coming from Sean Foley, but they just ran out of time to get an equaliser. Some good individual performances on the night and a lot of positives can be taken from the game. This is a good squad that has a nice blend of last years minors with some younger lads who have moved up from u16 level. This team is progressing well and once the mistakes are minimised, during the course of the league, will be in good stead for another assault at the championship.
Next game at home to Naomh Eoin on Thursday 5th at 7pm.
