The scoreline certainly flatters Myshall as the Clonmore team competed well for large parts of the game. Clonmore could only field 14 players as we had a couple unavailable due to work commitments and injury and therefore Myshall were compelled to do the same. However it was a much improved turnout with the return of some players and, despite the scoreline, a lot of positives can be taken from the game, with some genuine effort being put in by the players.
Myshall managed to make better use of a ten minute period of dominance in each half, which was the difference.
Dale McNamara bagged all 4 Clonmore scores on the night. With the impending return of a couple of players, the outlook may not be as bleak as this score would suggest, and we can still look forward to the Championship with some optimism.
