Ardagh St. Patricks 3-12 Moydow Harpers 2-02
This highly anticipated match failed to live up to the hype, when Moydow went down to a superior Ardagh outfit in Keenan Park, Ardagh on Wednesday (15th April).
Killer goals early in the game left the Harpers with an uphill struggle for the remainder of this local derby. Moydow were caught napping for these crucial goals but re-grouped and finished the half dominating possession. However, numerous failed attempts in front of the posts left 10 points between the sides at half time.

Ardagh dominated the third quarter and added further points to kill the game off long before the final whistle. At this stage, Moydow struggled for parity around midfield and failed to maintain enough possession to trouble their neighbours. However, they kept trying and were rewarded with a goal in the final minutes of the game.
