Thomastown N.S. – Bring & Buy Sale on Thursday 15th February from 7.00 p.m. –  9.00 p.m Golden Kilfeacle Lourdes Fund
As reported before Christmas a very successful bag packing was held in Super Valu Cashel in aid of the parish Lourdes fund. 
Last year we sent two people from the parish to Lourdes.  If you would like to nominate a person who you think because of
ill health etc would benefit from a visit to famous grotto please give your nomination to Arthur Landers, Margaret Tuohy or Alice Carroll.

Golden National School Parents Association

Congratulations to Miss Corbett and pupils Caroline Butler Hallissey and Sheila Nagle who performed very well in the recent
Cashel Pantomine Production of Dick Whittington and his Cat.  It was a very enjoyable nights entertainment.

KCTC Yoga Classes resuming on Fri Mar 2nd for 6 weeks at 9.45am in Kilfeacle Community Centre.

Adult Tennis League Finals will take place on Mon 12th @ 8.00pm. Forty players took part. Come along to enjoy and support.

A meeting will take place after the presentations @ 9.30pm.

PTAA meeting will be held in the Sacristry Golden on Mon night 12th Feb after Mass. Those due to receive Gold or Silver Pins please contact local centre.

Senior Infants, First and Second Classes will continue training in the Alley of the Hurling Field on Friday nights.

Sun 11th Feb County Minor Football League in Fethard.  Golden/Kilfeacle – v- Fethard at 11.30am.


New Hall: 
The Joint Committee of the GAA and New Hall met members of the Oireachtas and Local Councillors in Golden on Sunday last. 
Present were Tom Hayes, TD., Seamus Healy TD., Senator Martin Mansergh, Cllrs. Siobhan Ambrose, Mattie McGrath, Phil Prendergast, Liam Browne and Michael Fitzgerald. 
A very strong case was made for the hall and their help sought in adding weight to our application.  A deputation of all Oireachtas  members from South Tipp will meet Minister O’Donoghue during the week.
A three person delegation from the Committee met Minister O’Donoghue in Clonmel recently.  Lotto Grants will be announced in March.
