Next Friday night Edenderry commence their Senior Football Championship campaign and the bid to regain the Dowling Cup from neighours Rhode.
Edenderry will play rivals Clara, who have been beaten in the last three county finals and both sides will be keen to get their championship off to a strong start.
The game throws in at 7pm in O’Connor Park and a large crowd is expected to see this meeting which is a repeat of the 2012 semi final and 2011 County Final.
Our Junior Footballers will also being their 2013 Championship when they meet Tullamore in Edenderry on Sunday 5th May at 12noon. Edenderry have reached the knockout stage of the championship in the last two years and the Reds will be looking to make an impact yet again in the championship.
