OLD LEIGHLIN COOPERATION IRELAND PRIDE OF PLACE – REPRESENTING CARLOW IN THIS 32 COUNTY COMPETITION
It is because of the efforts of all and the community spirit that is in Old Leighliin ,with all the different activities, the village was nominated to represent Carlow in the 32 county Pride of Place Competition. The cooperation was amazing and what came together was a wonderful day full of lots to do see and entertain all who came. The atmosphere throughout the village was relaxed friendly and a real party spirit. It started as the competition being the main issue but ended second place to the enjoyment of all.
