Outdoor Sports

Experience the sorrows, the suffering, the glory and the pain on the 70 acres of parkland devoted to outdoor team sports.

Pitch and Putt:
ALSAA has a beautiful pitch and putt course with many testing holes across the Cuckoo Stream which flows through the grounds. Clubs and balls are available to rent from the Clubhouse.

Cross Country Training:
A cross country track follows the perimeter of the ALSAA grounds and is widely used by members.

Softball:
The dedicated softball arena is one of the few areas dedicated to this growing sport.

Lawn-Bowling:
The full size lawn-bowling green is used by ladies and men’s teams. Located on route to the Tennis Courts – shoes and bowls are available for hire in the Clubhouse.

Athletics:
The Eight Lane Athletics Track is available to all members for training and casual exercise.

Hockey:
The floodlit synthetic hockey pitch is home for the ladies and men’s hockey teams. You can view the mens hockey at www.fingalhockeyclub.com. Children of all ages are catered for.

Rugby:
The Swords Rugby Club has two pitches one of which is floodlit. You can contact the club direct at info@swordsrfc.com, or visit them at their website www.swordsrfc.com

The Aer Lingus Tennis Club organises various activities.
