Many thanks to all those who entered our recent poker classic held in Paddy’s on Friday, 30th October. There was an excellent turn out with many more wanting to play than could be accommodated.
Seven people made it to the final table: Shane Tierney, Kevin Leech, Geraldine Holmes (playing for Brian Coyne), John Hyland, Christy McNevin, Martin Fox and Tommy O’Toole. All received €60. Shane Tierney came out the eventual winner and received an additional €160.
Special thanks go to Kevin Donegan for being our MC on the night, Paddy’s for providing the venue, and all those who helped preparing sandwiches, moving furniture and selling tickets. It was the combined efforts of all that made the night such a great success.
