St. Patricks National School Drangan won all 3 matches in their blitz at Anner Park Cloneen on last Thursday. We are now through to the quarter finals. The team was: Cathal Foley, Aidan Fitzgerald, Ryan and Cian Crannitch, Jamie Brett, Robert Wall, Danny Broderick, Brian O Halloran, Bill Cuddihy, James Ryan, Pat Moroney, Robert Cuddihy, Evan Lawson. Match scores are as follows: Drangan 4-7 Ballingarry 5-2; Drangan 4-4 Kilcash 1-4 and Drangan 5-5 Lisnamrock 1-0.
Primary Schools Camogie
St. Patricks National School Drangan also had a great day out with our first ever camogie team entered from the school. They won 3 out of the 4 matches in a blitz in Gortnahoe on Monday week last defeating Two Mile Borris, Dualla and Ballingarry and suffering their only defeat at the hands of local team Gortnahoe. Players in action were: Claire O’Brien, Erin O’Brien, Issy Hayden, Gemma Gahan, Laura Murphy, Clodagh Horan, Jessica Strappe, Keelin Ryan, Isobel Maher, Karol Ryan, Clodagh Foley, Niamh Boland.
