PRO Notes for the 10th April 2017

Our senior team opened their league campaign with a away day defeat to Tourlestrane, final score 0-14 to 1-7. A busy weekend ahead for our senior team as they are scheduled for 2 further league games; Good Friday they play Calry/St Joseph's at 6.30pm in Cloonacool Community Park while on Easter Sunday they travel to Shamrock Gaels, throw in 2pm. 

 

Tune in to Ocean FM this Easter Sunday evening at 6pm as our Pole Position Quiz team take on Owenmore Gaels in the semi final of the competition. 

A number of Club players still haven't registered with the club. Contact Club Registrar Joanne O'Grady or your respective team coach for details. All players have to be registered by the club before the new playing season commences as they will be not covered by the GAA insurance, and therefore ineligible to play. 

Lotto tickets 2017 are still available from any club officer. This is the Club's main fundraiser for the year and the continued support of the local communities is greatly appreciated. The first draw will take place at the end of March. 

Our Minor team are scheduled for an away fixture this Thursday evening against Tourlestrane, throw in 7pm. 

Our U-16 team had an impressive away win against St Mary's last Monday evening, final score 3-11 to 1-10. 

Our U-14 were defeated by Castleconnor last Friday evening, final score 8-10 to 3-4. 

Our U-12 team were involved in a very enjoyable blitz last week away to St Michaels. They are in action again this Tuesday evening when they host Tourlestrane in Cloonacool Community Park. Throw in 7pm. 

Our Blue Kidz academy for all children from U-6, U-8 & U-10 level will commence outdoors on Saturday morning, 22nd April from 10-11am in Coolaney Community Park. New players & children are very welcome to attend. Your club wants you!

 

The club are delighted to announce that they will be hosting a Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp on the week 31st July-4th August in Coolaney Community Park. Log onto www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie to book your place. 

The club have launched their own "O'Neills Club Shop" with plenty of club merchandise that includes jerseys, socks, shorts, club tops, trousers and jackets available to our members and supporters to purchase. Please refer to our club website at www.coolaneymullinabreena.com for more details. 

Commiserations to the Sligo Minor team on their Connacht League defeat to Galway at the weekend. Barry Gorman lined out at midfield and chipped in with 2pts in their 0-13 to 0-7 defeat.
