The Jigs n |Reels fundraiser will take place on Easter Sunday night 20th April, in the Sligo Park Hotel. Twelve couples from Coolaney, Mullinabreena, Tubbercurry, Cloonacool, Curry, Geevagh and Ballymote will strut their stuff on the night, all in aid of our Club development fund. Six weeks of intensive rehearsals and high end production standards will ensure a great night is in store with an attendance of 600 anticipated. The participants are as follows: Anne Gorman & Dara Mulvey, Fr. Peter Gallagher & Inez Wims, Lisa Naughton & Sarah McIntyre, Leo Coleman & Yvonne Roddy McGowan, Fiona McCarrick Marren & Francis Mannion, Hillary Durcan & Fabio Cretaro, Michael Barrett & Michael Healy, Mary Munds & Peter Lyons, Bill Carty & Mari Johnston, Stephanie O'Reilly & Raymond Connolly, Jacqueline Barrett and Criostóir Davey, Anthony McGowan and Collette McGuinn. Tickets are now on sale from members of the club Executive or local retail outlets. Doors open at 7.30pm, with the show starting at 8.30pm sharp. U.8 and U.10 coaching has Started on Saturday mornings in Nace O Dowd park at 10am. New players are always welcome. The Senior team Drew with Shamrock Gaels in round 2 of the league on Saturday evening, the final score was 0-11 to 0-11. The seniors will play Cloonacool next weekend in the league Saturday evening, throw in 6pm. The junior team begin their league campaign this Friday evening against Eastern Harps, throw in 6.30pm in Nace O'Dowd Park. The minor team were defeated by St Mary's in the 2nd round of the league. They will play Tubbercurry in Kilcoyne park on Thursday 17th April at 6.30pm. Our U.16 team will play Easkey on Monday 21st April at 6.30pm, in Nace O Dowd park. The U.12 team will travel to Croke Park on wednesday 16th April to play in a blitz arranged by Connacht Council.
