PRO Notes for the 17th August 2015

The senior team played out a hard fought draw away to St Mary's at the weekend in the league, final score 1-13 apiece. Next up is Tubbercurry in the senior championship, this game is fixed for August 30th at 6.30pm in Cloonacool Community Park. Their remaining group game fixture is fixed for 12th September at 6pm away to Geevagh. 

 

The junior team have been drawn against the winners of Tubbercurry and Calry/St Joseph's in the championship semi final. They are awaiting their league final against Easkey to be fixed. 

 

Our minor team began their championship campaign last Thursday evening with a win over St John's. Final score 4-14 to 3-7. Next up is Geevagh away this Thursday evening, throw in 7pm.

 

Our U-16 team drew with Owenmore Gaels in Rd2 of the championship last Monday evening in Connolly Park. Final score 11pts apiece. They play away to St Mary's next Monday evening, 24th August at 7pm in their final group game. 

 

Our U-14 team play their final group game away to St Michael's this Wednesday evening, August 19th  throw in 7pm. 

 

 

Coaching for U.6 , U.8 and U.10 players  takes place on Saturday mornings at 10am, in Coolaney Community Park. New players are always welcome. 

 

The August Monthly meeting will take place next Monday evening, August 17th at 9.30pm in St Nathy's Hall. 

 

 

The Club are holding a fundraising tractor run on Saturday 5th September. Start time is 2.30pm at St Nathy's Hall. Registration from 1.30pm. We are delighted to announce that this year's nominated charity is "Kyle Wishes to walk". All proceeds are to be split 50/50 between the club and the charity. All support welcome. 

 

The next fundraising event the club will undertake is “The Kube”, the night is closely based on the popular TV gameshow and will feature 36 contestants. With over 1500 euro in prize money at stake, contestants will be set set tasks that will test their physical ability, mental ability, intelligence and Responsiveness. We are one of the first clubs in the northwest to host this high class event and it promises to be a brilliant night's entertainment. We invite sponsors to come on board for this exciting venture. All proceeds go towards the Nace O'Dowd park Development project.
