PRO Notes for the 19th September 2016

Congratulations to our minor team and management on winning the A2 final on Friday evening in Scarden. We were amalgamated with Buninnaden at minor grade this year and defeated St Farnan's in the final on a scoreline of 3-8 to 1-11. 

Congratulations also to  the St.Nathy's minor and senior teams on winning their respective county finals last weekend. 

We are Currently selling 10 euro tickets with over 1000 euro in prizes of Hotel Getaway breaks. Tickets are available from all club officers, Coaches and senior players. 

A Blitz for the U.8 and U.10 players will take place in Collooney on Sunday 25th September.

The U.13 team play Easkey on Thursday 22nd at 6.15pm, in Easkey. On Sunday 25th our U.13 team play Enniscrone  at 11am, in Enniscrone. 

The Connacht GAA Higher Education Bursary Application forms are now available online at www.connachtgaa.ie , the scheme is available to members of the Association who are attending a full-time higher Education course and who are active participants in their Higher Education Club.

Our club took part in the annual Kilmacud Crokes sevens tournament in Dublin at the weekend. The team defeated Ballysteen of Limerick before losing out to Claremorris and Kilmacud Crokes, failing to advance from the group. The team members were Enda Kivlehan, Raymond Connolly, Declan McCormack, Conor McCormack, Anthony Walsh, Aidan Coleman, Criostoir Davey, Eoin McDonagh, Conor Gorman and Stephen Connolly. Well done to all involved.
