U.8, U.10 and U.12 coaching on Saturday 7th June will take place in Coolaney Community park, coaching will rotate every other Saturday between Coolaney Community park and Nace O Dowd park, for the months of June and July, for the month of May it will continue in Nace O Dowd park. Our U.12 team travel to Geevagh on Tuesday 3rd June at 7pm. Thomastown U.14 Gaelic Football team from Co Kilkenny will be staying with families in Coolaney and Mullinabreena for this years Feile competition which will be held from 27th to 29th June 2014 in Centre of Excellence Ballyhaunis. We thank those Host families concerned for their hospitality. If there is anyone who has accommodation or knows of self catering accommodation locally that would cater for extended family members of the Thomastown team please contact Micheal Gorman or Gerry Mullen. The Senior team lost narrowly to Ballymote in round 1 of the Senior Championship, it was a very entertaining game, with some great scores from both teams, the final score was 1-13 to 1-15. We play Eastern Harps in round 2 of the championship on Saturday 31st May at 7.30pm , in Kilcoyne Park. The U.14 team play Enniscrone on Friday 30th May at 7pm, in Nace O Dowd park. We extend sympathy to the Henry and McGuiness families, Lavagh on a recent bereavement.
