PRO Notes for the 27th June 2016

The next club fundraiser is a 8km road race in scenic Coolaney on Wednesday 6th July at 7.30pm, Adults 15 euro, minors 10 euro, Family 40 euro ( 2 adults and 2 minors). Registration from 6pm in the Community Centre, Chip timing. Kids fun run at 7pm (sharp).Refreshments served afterwards in the Community Centre, Contact Gerry Lee 086 8282263. 

 

Coaching for Our U.6, U.8 and U.10 players continues every Saturday morning in the Community Park, Coolaney at 10am. New Players boys and girls are always welcome.

Our U-12 team were defeated by Ballymote in their latest blitz game last week. 

 

The U.14 team defeated Easkey in their league quarter final, final score 8-7 to 9-2. They play St Patrick's in their semi final this Wednesday evening at 7pm in Dromard.  

 

 

The U.16 team play Easkey on 27th June at 7pm in Easkey. 

 

The minors have qualified for the knock out stages of the league. Fixtures to be confirmed soon. 

 

Our senior team are back in action this Sunday morning when they travel to St Molaise Gaels in the Kiernan Cup. Throw in 12pm. 

 

Commiserations to the Sligo minor team and club player Barry Gorman on their 1 point defeat to Roscommon at the weekend in the first round of the Connacht Championship. 

 

Good luck to the Sligo senior team and club player Eoin McDonagh in their qualifier game against Leitrim at the weekend. 

 

The club will be hosting their own GAA Summer Camp in Coolaney Community Park on the 22nd-24th August 2016. We welcome all children between the ages 5-12 years within the club catchment area to attend this new initative being held by the club.
